## Before it starts

**Apple's "Pro and Tell" event is Wednesday, Oct. 28 at 1 p.m. ET (10 a.m. PT) in Los Angeles.** It's an invitation-only media event, [MacRumors reports](https://www.macrumors.com/2026/10/25/macbook-pro-with-touchscreen-on-wednesday/), so there may be no public livestream. Expect announcements to arrive as press releases on Apple's newsroom, with Canadian prices on apple.com/ca. We'll follow both and post updates here.

**What's expected (all reports, nothing confirmed by Apple):**

- **Touchscreen MacBook Pro.** Bloomberg's Mark Gurman expects 14- and 16-inch MacBook Pros with OLED touchscreens and a Dynamic Island in place of the notch, [per MacRumors](https://www.macrumors.com/2026/10/25/macbook-pro-with-touchscreen-on-wednesday/). He says they could cost up to $500 USD (about $700 CAD) more than the current models, which would stay on sale for now.
- **More Macs.** Bloomberg also expects an M6 base MacBook Pro and a new iMac, possibly announced separately, [iPhone in Canada reports](https://www.iphoneincanada.ca/2026/10/26/apple-joswiak-exciting-week-ipad-mini/).

Apple has already started its week: Monday brought the [new iPad mini](https://thecircuit.ca/posts/2026-10-26-ipad-mini-oled-canada/), from $949 in Canada, with pre-orders opening Wednesday at 1:10 p.m. ET. Apple marketing chief Greg Joswiak said on X that it was the start of an exciting week.

**What we'll add here:** Canadian prices, pre-order and ship dates, and anything that's missing in Canada or Quebec, each confirmed on Apple's Canadian pages.
